Our Community Hubs and Units are welcoming places where autistic adults, adults with learning disabilities and others with complex needs, can enjoy a variety of activities and experiences to support them to lead the life they choose.
All our Community Hubs are fully accessible, and our diverse teams are trained to recognise behaviour as communication and respond to our customers’ needs.
Our attendees get involved in creating our activity programmes, which currently include cooking activities, financial skills, gardening and crafting, alongside plenty of social and leisure activities, from art to sport to celebrating special events, which sometimes include going to other local venues.
We have a great range of facilities, such as:
- fully resourced art and craft rooms
- well-equipped kitchens
- state of the art Sensory Rooms
- free WIFI and access to a range of technology
- specialised personal care facilities and equipment
- space to relax and spend time with friends over a coffee or snack
- lovely gardens and grounds
- wheelchair scales (available at Rushmere and Bury St Edmunds Community Hubs).
