Bury St Edmunds’ Hub is a spacious, welcoming place!
Our diverse team ranges in age from 18 upwards and is experienced in supporting Autistic people with Positive Behaviour Support, which recognises behaviour as communication and responds to the needs of our customers to ease any distress and prevent behaviours of concern being displayed or escalating.
The team also have additional training from district nurses to ensure that we can support individuals with their PEG lines, epilepsy (rescue medication), blood sugar glucose readings for individuals who are diabetic, as well as supporting individuals to have medication administered if they require this whilst in our care.
However, the support that our customers remember and appreciates centres around supporting them to enjoy social activities and experiences that can introduce new skills, support them to maintain or increase their independence, and promote healthy activities.
