Mildenhall Community Unit is a small and friendly hub providing a range of daytime activities and opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, designed to support health and wellbeing, gaining confidence and independence, and learning new skills.
We are near Mildenhall town centre and welcome anyone over the age of 16. Our experienced and caring team members provide person-centred support and high levels of support in a happy and safe environment. All our team members are fully trained.

Within the Unit
- A kitchen area for cooking, baking, and making drinks.
- A Sensory Room with bubble tubes, sensory toys, music, a projector and bean bags to lay on.
- A Snug Room with comfy bean bags, a sofa, a weighted blanket and a range of sensory toys.
- A bathroom with a shower, changing facilities and a hoist.
- Tablets, a laptop, a Wii and a Nintendo Switch.
Within the grounds
- A small garden area refurbished with input from our customers.

Customers who have a 1-1 support worker can access activities but may choose to participate in other activities with their worker.
