At Leading Lives, we believe in the power of community and the value of giving back.
That’s why we proudly support and encourage volunteering within our day services, dementia cafes, and other parts of our organisation.
Whether it’s helping with activities, sharing skills, or simply spending time with those we support, volunteers play a vital role in enriching lives and creating meaningful connections.
We welcome individuals from all walks of life to join us in making the Leading lives difference. By volunteering, you’re not just offering your time—you’re bringing joy, companionship, and a sense of belonging to our community.

“I started at leading lives in December 2025 as a volunteer to get more experience in the support worker role.
In my first 3 months at New South West hub, I feel like I have made good relationships with customers and team members, and I look forward to every Wednesday and Friday!
Everyone has such wonderful personalities and I’ve enjoyed getting to know the customers and team members! Initially I was a bit unsure as to what to expect but after a few weeks I really found my feet and try my best to help the best I can!
I absolutely love my time here and the staff are incredible bunch of people and could have asked for a better bunch of people to help me settle in! Just a personal shout out to Dan, Georgia, Jae and Mel who have also been absolutely fantastic in helping me and guiding me since being here!”
