We provide a range of high-quality short breaks for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

Our short breaks in Suffolk offer the opportunity to enjoy a break from home and experience a range of activities and skills whilst offering family carers a valuable break from their caring responsibilities with the reassurance that their relative is in safe hands and having a great time.

Personalised Care

Our Short break units, which are in four locations across the county, offer a warm welcome and enjoyable stay based on the guests’ own personal preferences. The safe, supported environment enables guests to make their own choices about their room, what they want to do including choosing activities they want to participate in. It’s a fantastic opportunity for guests to develop more independent learning skills, make friends, enjoying new experiences whilst providing their family members with some respite.

We also offer Short Breaks specifically for young people (13-25) so they can enjoy time away from home with their peers and with activities specifically designed for them. Some activities already enjoyed have included Archery, Treasure Hunts, Beach Days, Discos, Karaoke, Movie Nights and more.

We also offer support outside of the units, for instance within the customers home, to provide families respite and the opportunity to pursue holidays and time away from the family home.

All accommodations are registered with the Care Quality Commission and are extremely well-equipped with the latest technology and facilities, which can cater for those who have additional needs such as epilepsy or a physical disability. Our lounge and dining areas are comfortable and stylish and allow lots of social opportunities as well as the chance to get away from it all in the relaxing and tranquil gardens.

Short Breaks for Young People!

We also offer short breaks for young people aged 16 and up at all of our short break accommodations.
