Funding from our Community Benefit Fund has allowed fellow employee-owned social enterprise, Community Dental Services CIC, to produce a fantastic online toolkit to support people with learning disabilities to develop skills to manage their oral health effectively.
Their engaging, interactive and easy read toolkit will help support users to understand how choices such as diet, alcohol and smoking can affect oral health, and how maintaining good oral health can impact positively on their overall health and well-being.
We’re very proud to be associated with this excellent work, everyone deserves good dental health care and they are leading the way in making this accessible to people with additional support needs.
