Leading Lives is pleased to confirm that our premises are “COVID Secure” in line with the government’s five steps to safer working together.

  • We have provided specific COVID 19 training courses and moved all mandatory staff training on-line.
  • We have cleaning and hygiene procedures in line with government guidance and established infection control procedures.
  • We have taken all reasonable steps to enable home working.
  • We have provided mental health and wellbeing coaching and support for managers to help them effectively lead their teams through these challenging times.

Risk assessments have been completed and communicated to staff covering:

  • Direct and customer support including correct use of PPE.
  • Office and building assessments to identify new working practices to allow staff to work from offices.
  • Employee wellbeing support

We continue to work closely with the local authority, customers and family careers to explore alternative methods of providing outreach support via our front-line teams.  This includes:

  • Supporting our Independence Plus and Supported Living customers.
  • Online and telephone outreach support to existing customers through phone calls and video links.
  • Online Leading Lives engagement events.
