Two of our customers from our Supported Independence service in the North of the county, recently attended one of Ace Anglia’s Wellbeing Session virtually.

This session was about Fears and Phobias, and this was accessible to all customers, to come together for questions and answers with the Suffolk Learning Disability Liaison Nurses and other health professionals.

These two customers are a couple who live in the community together, and both share many fears. They really benefited from attending this session where Ace Anglia talked through some different strategies to help cope with these fears and phobias. But, what was really beneficial was speaking to other individuals with Learning Disabilities who share some of the same fears and experiences.

This was the first time that they had been on a Zoom call and were really impressed with how they could have meetings virtually.
