We were delighted be able to support one of our customers to attend the Remembrance Service at the Royal Albert Hall.
Our customer loves brass bands, the military and is very patriotic. He has been a life-long member of the Salvation Army and over the years has taken part in marches and parades. His health has deteriorated this last year and he has not been well enough to go on his usual holiday to the Edinburgh tattoo. Our staff helped him to join the Royal British Legion & he enjoys their monthly news magazine; because of this was able to get priority tickets to the Royal Albert Hall for the Remembrance Service this weekend!
He went with his key-worker, and they stayed at a fancy hotel just across the road from the Albert Hall – they even managed to fit in a trip to the natural history museum.
He said: ‘It’s been a fantastic 2 days, I loved it”.
