One of our customers had a brilliant time going karting and using his indoor exercise bike.
One of our customers in our supported independence service in the North of the county, had never been go-karting before, so he was so excited when this day out was planned. His key worker went above and beyond to arrange the activity, speak to the karting manager to discuss adaptations for the kart and assure him and his mum of the his safety during the experience.
As well as this, going for a bike ride outside can be difficult and dangerous and slippy during the wet weather, but our customer didn’t let this stop him from exercising as he consistently used his indoor exercise bike during the colder months.
