At the start of the new year, customers in our Support To Live at Home service were asked to make a wish for the year. One of our customer’s wishes was to wash cars.
After applying to volunteer at several local hand car washes and not hearing back, our team members were determined to find a way for him to get his wish!
So they thought outside the box, and arranged for him to wash cars at our Sudbury Hub every Monday morning and he is doing a brilliant job!
He made a great start on Monday morning and said that he couldn’t sleep Sunday night he was so excited!
This was such a meaningful moment for him, fulfilling his wish and being supported to lead the life he chooses.
