Sudbury Support To Live at Home Climb Snowdon – A Weekend to Remember!
On the 10th May, customers and team members from Sudbury Support To Live at Home, embarked on an incredible challenge – climbing Mount Snowdon! It was a weekend filled with determination, resilience and team work, with everyone motivating one another the whole way.
It’s safe to say, the journey was tough, some made it all the way to the top, some didn’t, but every single person on the trip gave it absolutely everything and we are so proud of them all!
Although the most challenging part of the trip was coming down with already tired legs, there was no way anyone’s spirits could be dampened. With lots of breaks (with plenty of snacks), laughs and team work, everyone made it back down safely.
Most importantly, the customers loved the experience! As soon as they returned home, phones were out and calls were made to family and friends – everyone eager to share their achievement, and rightly so! The pride and joy on all of their faces was a powerful reminder of how special and meaningful these moments of adventure and accomplishment are, for everyone!
They managed to absolutely smash their donation goal and raised just under £3,000!
A massive well done to everyone on the trip, you’ve done yourself and Leading Lives proud!
