Our highest priority at Burgess House is making sure our guests have a brilliant time whilst their family carers are enjoying their respite. So when two of our guests said they wanted to bake a cake we loved supporting them to do exactly that!
They had a great time choosing the kind of cake they wanted to make, measuring and mixing the ingredients and decorating it once it was out of the oven. But by the looks of it we think they had an even better time eating it afterwards!
It looked and tasted so good that one of the guests said, “next time, Bake Off!”
We definitely think there would be a Paul Hollywood handshake for this!
