This course is mandatory for all Leading Lives Staff and needs to be completed as part of Induction

This eLearning module should take approximately 30 minutes to complete so please ensure you are in a quiet, distraction free environment and don’t forget to take a break if you need to. To get a great learning experience from this online course, allow yourself to focus and avoid looking at emails or your phone.

You can pause the video at any time and take it at your own pace. Following the module, you will need to undertake the quiz which has an 80% pass mark which will record that you have completed and understood this training. Your training record will be updated by a member of the Learning & Development Department

After watching this video you will:
• Have a clear understanding of how moving and handling is defined.
• Be able to explain how to prepare yourself to move and handle objects.
• Be able to explain the six-point lift.
• Have an understanding of the three main pieces of legislation that are connected to safe manual handling.
• Know what TILE stands for and its functionality.
