Leading Lives are proud to announce that we have created a working group to discuss and initiate a Menopause strategy to support colleagues impacted by menopause.
One of our key values is that we value our relationships and collective strength. As part of this we recognise the wealth of experience that older colleagues bring to the workforce and want to ensure that they, or any other colleagues affected by the menopause, are supported effectively and know they are valued.
Our aims are to provide support and resources for all to use whether they are impacted directly or indirectly, to provide a safe space to discuss and share experiences, and to establish a menopause supportive workforce.
The first step to this was seeing our MD and HR team take part in Menopause training. We were pleased to welcome Jo Wood FCIPD MHGI to learn more about the menopause and how we can support any of our colleagues who are affected by it. She shared a lot of information as well as tips and techniques we’ll be able to share with colleagues.
